Amman, Oct.7 (Petra) --Trading turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD11.4 million on Wednesday, as 7.5 million shares changed hands through 5,971 transaction.

The ASE general index fell 0.12% to close at 4,200 points.

At the sector level, the services and industrial indexes fell 0.34% and 0.16%, respectively, while the financial benchmark edged up 0.01%.

Of 110 companies traded, 41 recorded gains in their share prices, while 37 declined, compared with their previous closing prices. The rest remained flat.
